FUEL CELL VEHICLES
FCVs are electric vehicles. Instead of a battery they use hydrogen gas as the energy source. Hydrogen is then used to produce electricity in a fuel cell stack, powering the electric motors.
Renewable energy sources such as wind and solar provide inconsistent power outputs. For large-scale viability, the ability to store large amounts of energy is needed.
Hydrogen generators and fuel cells can be utilized to use hydrogen as a method to store energy on the MW level.
